Kent's family doesn't live in my area, they live in my district. I'm in Peterborough, and they live in Lindsey. So if you send it to them I will not be able to go pick it up until I am transferred to Lindsey. Next transfers are august 25th. the problem I am facing with my companion right now is his hope and faith, (not the tv show). He thinks that investigators never get baptised on their baptismal date, but with Gods help anything is possible. It's usually known as a miracle! You just have to have the right attitude toward everything that you do, then you will see the miracles and promised blessings that you were told would come. I went up to Bancroft yesterday. I was on splits with a Brother Rider. He served his mission in England, and he played a big part in bringing the Hinton Family into the church. Ask them if they remember brother Rider. With the humidity factor it has been up around 40 degrees down here, so it actually wasn't hot in calgary! I am tanning up nicely though. Just send the meds to me. I am doing fine, and I'm keeping the right attitude. I might use my credit card to buy something. (just as one of those every once in a while uses) it won't be expensive, just like 20 dollars or something. This week I should be repaid for the airconditioner, and I will put the money back in the account. We have an appointment with a former potential investigator named Candace, and I'm excited to teach her. She sounded pretty excited over the phone.I'm glad to hear you had a good time at the air show. You're getting burnt while I'm getting tanned, lol. I think Shaun will be a great mission leader, I hope all the young families are doing well. Tell them I miss them, and that they were excellent examples to me. I'm also extremely glad to hear things have picked up for work, I will continue to pray for you. I'm glad to hear that the work is still moving along up there. I'm going to keep the right attitude as we go to teach everyone and bring them unto Christ. If we can get at least half our potential investigators to commit to baptism (around 10 is half) I will probably explode with joy. Have an exciting joyful week.

July 19th
Hello Everyone,
I'm doing well, we're stopping to eat out so much, my companion is trying to lose weight. I miss the stampede, but I'm glad you were all able to go. We found a couple of people who said they'd be interested, but one of them is going to Calgary for 3 weeks, the other is an investigator, who skipped our appointment, and "ill call you when ive had a chance to read." Keep scooter healthy, I want him to be there when I come back! The Tronto Est mission is still looking for more missionaries, maybe even an older couple, but tell Try that he'll have a lot more joy when he gets into the mission field. D&C 18: 10,15-16. I hope you guys are well. I hope Peter and Dad enjoy the air show, tell them to pick up another one of those movies.LOL. The airconditioner is going to be paid for by the mission, it was approved last week. Our house was just as bad as everybody elses was on the street. Good to see the house is all finally done, all the hard work is finally over. I will be praying for you, I have been everyday. Since you found so much stuff in the river, now you don't need to go shopping, you can just go kayacking to find what you want. lol. I would have thought that Greg would be the one to sink, I'm glad he didn't drown though, just last week there was a 4 year old boy who got swept in the current of the river and died, its always sad to hear stuff like that, but always good to know that we know where he is. We taught a 100 year old man, he said that he new in his heart that what we were saying was true, but he dindn't understand the part about being baptized by the proper authority, but we gave him a book of mormon, and a restoration pamphlet, hopefully he can actually read that really small print, he doesn't have too much time left to come unto christ, and his mom only died just last summer. We did find one guy just yesterday, and he was trying really hard to go against our temples and stuff, we could see that he felt bad about what he was doing, but we just gave him a card and told him to look up the information for himself, because we didn't talk to him just so we could start a fight, and I even told him that, I said contention is of the devil, and we're not here to start it. I said it very nicely as we left. So that was the good thing to do, and I'm glad that I did it properly. Thank you for your message, we are really applying it now, everyone that wouldn't progress we have dropped. I love you a lot, on one day we did 4.5 hours of tracting, that was a lot, but we need more people to teach, people who wont bomb appointments. I hope you guys are well, keep in the faith.
